17 Jun Road to Glasgow 2026: Chef de Mission Ernest Danso visits Frema Agyei at the Ray Stevens Judo Academy.
To ensure that Ghana’s judokas are in optimal condition for the forthcoming Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and that administrative preparations remain on schedule, the Chef de Mission for Team Ghana, Mr. Ernest Danso, paid a courtesy visit to the Ray Stevens Judo Academy in the United Kingdom, where Frema Agyei is currently training.
The visit afforded the Chef de Mission the opportunity to observe preparations at first hand, familiarise himself with the athlete’s training environment, and interact with those supporting her development ahead of the Games.
As part of Team Ghana’s broader preparations, Mr. Danso is expected to extend similar visits to other locations where Ghanaian athletes are based to ensure that their welfare, readiness, and administrative requirements are adequately addressed.
