Ghana Judo Federation

The Ghana Judo Federation (GJF) is the national governing body for judo in Ghana, dedicated to developing the sport from grassroots to elite level. Affiliated with the Ghana Olympic Committee, African Judo Union, and International Judo Federation, GJF promotes discipline, respect, and excellence through structured training, competitions, and athlete development programmes.

 

With a strong focus on youth development, athlete welfare, and technical excellence, the Federation works to nurture future champions while preparing athletes for continental, Commonwealth, and Olympic competitions. Together with our partners and stakeholders, we are building a stronger future for judo in Ghana.

Our Mission

The Ghana Judo Federation exists to grow and promote judo as a sport and a way of life, shaping character through discipline, respect, and excellence, while evolving together with athletes, coaches, institutions, and partners to achieve sustainable development and international competitiveness in line with the principles of the International Judo Federation and the Olympic Charter.
